Sissi - Villa Isabella

Villa Isabella is a 350 sq m holiday property, situated in the area of Sissi village. Developed in three levels the residence commands in an imposing location between the Lassithi Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. It boasts 6 bedrooms, sitting and dining areas and it was constructed in 2015.

The design concentrated on local materials that would perfectly blend into the lush landscape of the area, but at the same time caters for modern indulgences whilst including traditional Greek styles. Earthy tones, stone and wood were mainly used in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Being mostly a holiday house, another objective of the design was to ensure spacious outdoor living areas where the occupants could enjoy the mild climate of the area and the Greek sun.

Verandas around the swimming pool constitute gathering areas, while wooden pergolas provide the necessary shade. A remarkable spot of the project is the Jacuzzi placed in the 1st floor’s balcony. Flourishing vegetation within its premises with Cretan flowers and herbs planted artfully complete its landscape.

Gounalakis Giorgos was the project manager and head supervisor of the construction, during his time as a shareholder in his previous company.
