Plaka - Pefko / The Pine Tree

The Pine Tree taverna (Pefko) is situated in the beautiful fishing village of Plaka. A traditional taverna serving local delicacies, Pefko is popular with both locals and tourists, wishing to sit under the shade of the magnificent pine tree. The taverna enjoys views towards the famous Spinalonga island and is a stones throw away from the cosmopolitan village of Elounda.

Pefko was renovated and redesigned in 2021 by GMG constructions with an extension to the rear of the taverna with a new comfortable seating area to cater for the tavernas increase in popularity.
