Elounda - Villa Elounda

This project serves as an example of an Italian character property perfectly adapted to the Cretan landscape. Perched on a hillside overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean, this villa with a total area of 170 sq m, boasts some of the most exquisite views in all the area. it was first constructed in 2000 and then completely renovated in 2007.

The Swiss – Italian aesthetics of the client influenced this unique project in a fascinating way. The natural stone details in the landscaping walls and wood pergola may praise Cretan tradition, but the property’s shaping, terracotta tiled roof and vibrant colors clearly bring to mind Italian architecture. The layout design was made in such a way as to guarantee the optimum view from every spot of the residence.

In the surrounding area, the infinity swimming pool dominates, as its unique black tile feature stands for unconventional and contemporary design. The flourishing gardens in the surroundings significantly contribute to an idyllic pastoral landscape.

Both construction and renovation were held by Gounalakis Giorgos during his time as a shareholder and Head of the construction Department in his previous company.
